About our hiking tour to Christ the Redeemer
Admire the world famous statue of Christ the Redeemer statue whilst also traversing the picturesque woods of Rio’s Lage Park.
Passing by streams and traditional family gardens hikers will reach Tijuca Forest through the park and hike up to the old railroad which was constructed in 1887, before following the tracks to the feet of Christ the Redeemer.
The trail boasts spectacular views of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon as well as stunning views of the entire South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The trail concludes at the famous statue itself which is one of the seven modern wonders of the world. What more could you ask for!
