How can I participate in the tours?

  1. All tours depart daily, you can choose the date and book it to suit your schedule.
  2. Book online by clicking the “book now” button on the tour page you’re interested in. Fill the form with your information.
  3. You’ll be redirected to our secure payment page. Please note that the full payment is required in advance and can be made conveniently through PayPal and Stripe, accepting all major credit cards.
  4. Attention! For the Hang Gliding and Paragliding excursion, you will pay a reservation fee of R$ 200 BRL per person, and the remainder must be paid on the day of the excursion in cash or card(Additional 10%).

If I am travelling alone can I participate in the tours?

  1. Yes, you can. Just choose your favorite date and schedule your activity on the website. We have daily departures for all tours; it is not necessary to confirm availability, just make the reservation through the website.

After booking a tour, what is possible to change?

  1. Change or reschedule your tour up to 48 hours before departure, or cancel for a 50% refund.
  2. For changes or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, the full amount will be charged, and adjustments are not possible.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if weather conditions compromise safety. The tour guide will assess the situation and make the final decision.

Liability waiver term

  1. The primary released party is Rio Natural. The tour guides are additional released parties.
  2. The client(s) will participate in a tour which is a public area in the open and subject to weather conditions and its sudden changes. It is fully understood by the client(s) that there are some inherent risks associated with this tour, specifically including but not limited to tripping and falling, abrasions, cuts and contusions, sprained ankles and wrists, pulled muscles, twisted ankles, limbs and joints injuries, cramps, dehydration and heat exhaustion, and harmful animals and insects which are unpredictable in nature and may attack, all of which can cause personal injury or death to the participant, and damage or loss of equipment, materials and personal belongings used in and during the Tour.
  3. The client(s) certifies that are physically fit and in a condition that will allow to participate fully in the activity. The client(s) certifies that maintains medical insurance that covers him and his group for accidents and illnesses while participating in the tour(s). The client(s) understands that Rio Natural has not made, nor will make, any investigation into his physical fitness or ability to participate in the activity.
  4. Rio Natural is relying on his warranty of physical condition. The client(s) assumes full responsibility for payment of medical expenses not covered by his insurance incurred as a result of his participation in this tour. The client(s) understands the dangers inherent to this activity.
  5. The client(s) assumes any risk including the above mentioned ones, takes full responsibility and waives any and all claims of personal injury, including severe bodily injury, damage to personal property and death relating to the participation in the booked tour.

Images Rights

It Is authorized by the client(s) that the images (photos or videos) collected during the tour(s) can be used for promotional purposes. The client(s) can not claim any rights or payments for those images.

How physically fit do I need to be to do these activities?

We offer tours of vary degrees of difficulty, from low intensity historical or cultural tours to extremely difficult climbs – really it is up to you.

What happens if it rains?

Most of our tours can still be conducted in the rain. Just bring a raincoat with you but if you don’t have one, we can lend you one. If the rain is really heavy and in anyway compromises the safety of the tour then the guide will cancel the tour. You will be offered the opportunity to reschedule the tour or if it is not possible a full refund will be paid. In the event of rain, wait for the guide at the arranged meeting point or just call Rio Natural Ecotourism.

I would like to do a different city tour, hike, or adventure sports trip but did not find it on your web site?

We do not advertise on our website all the tours which are available. If you have any idea, let us know and we will do our best to make it happen. Our private tour is the perfect choice for those seeking personalized and unique experiences. 

I am under 18 can I join the tours?

Yes, but written permission is required from the responsible party, who must also be present at all times.

When you visit our website and make a reservation, we automatically gather some info about you and your device, like details about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device.
