About our Tijuca Forest + Christ tour

Replete with histories and curiosities, Tijuca Forest has many nooks and crannies to be explored and many historical attractions which deserve to be visited, including Christ the Redeemer Statue one of the great cultural symbols of Rio de Janeiro. Situated on Corcovado hill, 709 metres above sea level, the statue of Christ the Redeemer is 30 metres tall and has a base of 8 metres. In 2007 it was selected as one of the 7 modern wonders of the world.

After Christ we will visit other parts of the Tijuca Forest one of the largest urban forest in the world covering around 40 square km. There you will find historical spots, spectacular views, the biggest waterfall in Rio all inside a tropical national park, located right in the heart of the city.

Of course we will do a easy hike to show you the forest and it’s hundreds of different species of flora and fauna, many of which are found only in Atlantic Rain Forest.

How to book the Tijuca Forest + Christ tour

The Tijuca Forest + Christ tour depart daily, you can choose the date and book it to suit your schedule. We need at least 2 people, If you are one person alone, we can allocate you in another group.
